Malvern, Pa. (March 12, 2025) – Meridian Bank welcomed the former CIA Chief of Counterintelligence, Jim Olson, to the Inn at Villanova University on Thursday, February 27 as part of its CEO Series program.

Jim spoke to a room full of Meridian’s business customers and local leaders about his 30-year career in deep cover in the CIA, life-threatening missions in Moscow and Vienna, and his take on current politics and world affairs.

Meridian’s CEO Series began shortly after the bank’s founding in 2004, when a handful of the Bank’s business customers gathered to listen to local business experts. The well-received talks encouraged Meridian to move the event to larger venues and bring in nationally known speakers.

Since then, speakers have included Rich Diviney, a retired Navy SEAL commander; Jeff Hunter, an FBI special agent; former Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey; Brian Beaulieu, CEO of ITR Economics; and Bill McDermott, former CEO of SAP.

CEO Series events are presented several times each year, providing education and insight to Meridian’s business customers and other area leaders.

The CEO Series was featured in Delco.Today and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
