Heather Tanigawa Joins Meridian Bank as Senior Vice President, Treasury Management Sales Officer

Bonita Springs, Fl. (April 30, 2026) – Meridian Bank is pleased to welcome Heather Tanigawa as Senior Vice President, Treasury Management Sales Officer. In her role, Tanigawa will focus on providing leadership within the Treasury Management team, driving revenue growth, and deepening customer relationships across the Southwest Florida region. She will partner closely with relationship managers to deliver tailored treasury solutions and act as a trusted advisor to help commercial customers operate more efficiently and support their growth objectives.

Tanigawa brings 21 years of industry experience to Meridian, having begun her career as a teller at Wachovia before transitioning to a Financial Specialist role at CNL Bank in 2011. She later moved into Treasury Management, where she advanced her expertise following CNL Bank’s acquisition by Valley Bank. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Treasury Sales Officer at Valley Bank, where she spent eight years supporting Commercial Real Estate, Commercial and Industrial, and Private Equity customers, as well as government programs focused on community infrastructure.

A graduate of Florida SouthWestern State College, Tanigawa holds an associate’s degree in business administration and management, as well as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation. She resides in Fort Myers with her two teenage sons and enjoys spending time traveling with her family.
