Malvern, Pa. (May 22, 2025) – Meridian Bank, the wholly owned subsidiary of Meridian Corporation (Nasdaq: MRBK) has been named a Top Workplace in the Delaware Valley by The Philadelphia Inquirer in its May 18 edition. Ranked fourth among companies with 150-499 employees, Meridian is the highest-ranking financial institution.
Meridian ranked well above other commercial banks in the Top Workplaces program in three key metrics: pay (17% higher than benchmark), interdepartmental cooperation (16% higher) and execution (16% higher). Meridian also earned special recognition for ranking in the top 5% of its benchmark in four key culture areas: supportive managers, innovation, cross-team cooperation, and work life balance.

Only 144 companies made this year’s list, and the full list of winners can be found on The Inquirer’s website or in their May 18 issue. The data was gathered through an anonymous survey of more than 215 Meridian Bank employees. Energage LLC partnered with The Philadelphia Inquirer to administer the survey, which measured employee experiences, culture drivers and component themes within the organization including alignment, execution and connection.
